About the TOCA Safety Team

The TOCA Safety Team is a specialist motorsport rescue and medical team providing emergency response support to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and its supporting race championships at circuits across the UK.

Bringing together experienced motorsport rescue personnel, paramedics and medical professionals, the team is dedicated to providing a rapid, professional and coordinated response to incidents on track.

Equipped with specialist extrication, rescue and medical equipment, the team is trained to manage the challenges of motorsport incidents, including vehicle stabilisation, driver extrication and emergency medical care.

Working closely with circuit medical teams, marshals, race control and other emergency services, the TOCA Safety Team plays an important role in maintaining the highest standards of safety throughout the race weekend.

Training, teamwork and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that when an incident happens, the right people, skills and equipment are ready to respond.
